yea im an idiot, the comments were passworded for whatever reason. sorry. heres a graph of all holdem hands on this computer. the crazy variance in last 15k hands are so are mostly from 10/20 and 25/50 on stars. the sick up and down on the tail end are me playing HU vs bldswttrs and h@ll. i barely made money from bld and h@ll pwned (hes a fish though!!. im going to take it easy and play some 5/10 for a few days because thats so much more relaxing.
i was so sad with the news at the beginning of the month about banning online gambling but then i kept finding fish in bigger games. apparently two of the fish from the stars 25/50NL game have gone broke though and they were the reasons i was taking a shot. i think im going to continue to splash around there when games are good though.

lately ive been playing 5/10 10/20 and some 25/50, mostly on PokerStars. im up almost 50k this month which is pretty cool considering i just broke 100k overall last month.
opponent is a good nit. im on a few of his tables and he should think im tight/straight forward. because of this, i tried to make my hand look something like 8d8 or 7d7, that way he would value bet the whole time. if i played it fast like i would against most people, i think he folds the flop with big overpair.

in june, boostnslide, lukie, ultimategeorge, trikflow and I all met at the winstar casino in oklahoma to play poker. we had never met eachother before except for ftr. i wrote this trip report for some other people on FTR but decided there was nothing wrong with posting it here.
day 1: thursday george, boost, lukie and i finally all met up at dallas fort worth airport. nothing exciting happens.
we get to the winstar casino after checking into out place. i get on the 5/10 nl waitlist and within 3 hours i lost a $2300 pot. there were a 3-4 limpers, i limp with 56, 855 flop, 6 turn, i lose to 88. bad start and probably the reason im not focusing this on all the poker hands i played.
after i lose i round up everyone because im not feeling like eating by myself. george, boost and i go to appelbee's because lukie sucks. afterward we search for booze and then return.
after we arrive but before we play poker, i sit at a blackjack table with $60. i get 66, but dont split. the dealer gets pissed and tell me its bad etiquette to not play optimal strategy. i said i didnt care and to hit me, and the hands becomes a push. i put all $60 on the necthand, hit blackjack and leave. george convinces me that i need to report that aSSHole dealer and i do.
i sit at 1/2 nl with lukie. within the first 45 minutes, i stack him. ha!. utg raises to 7, two callers including lukie on button, i make it 30 on the BB with jacks, the raiser calls and so does lukie. T97 flop, i bet $75, lukie pushes for about $80 more, his 88 doesn't catch up. my stack was getting big here, and one of the other guys with abuot $350 said he wanted to play hand with me because he could win alot of money. this ends up happening. i get AA, flop top set, and when i bet $70 on the turn he check/minraises me with his bare flush draw, i push for $100 more and he calls. i hold up, ship it.
also during this time, i called a large riverbet with 2nd pair from this guy that i thought was getting out of line. i lost, and this douchebag asked to see my hand. i asked him if i thought i was colluding with someone (thats the raeson they let you see the hands, right and he said "uh..no...just wanted to see your cards." i explain why they have the rule and that its bad etiquette to try and see. he tells me he just wants free information, i call him an aSSHole. lukie stacks him KK v AA allin preflop eventually (nice catch mr. lukie.
we go back to hotel around 3 and drink alot. lukie has never had a drink before in his life so we trick him into taking 3 shots in succession. we go to sleep and wake up around 1.
day 2: friday
im stuck about $900 at this point. i didnt have lots of cash on me so i didnt feel comfortable sitting at the 5/10nl, so the plan was to grind it at 1/2 for the day and then make a triumphant return to 5/10 the next day.
before we sit down we go to eat at one of the restaurants in the casino, and trikflow meets up with us. we all put $25 in a pol and see who can run up the highest stack at 1/2nl.
after a 12 hour session, i had abuot $1250 in front of me. holla! boost was sitting on my right this entire session, and won of the bigger pots came off of him. i check BB with QTc, flop comes 89J two clubs. boost checks, i bet $5, caller, annoying local raises to $15 (more on him in a bit), when it gets back to boost in SB he makes it $50, i push for $300 (fold boost!! folds back to him and he calls with T7. my club gets there and i win a $600 pot.
anyway, about 30 minutes before this hand the annoying local guy lost a big pot. he was probably 18-20 years old. he chewed on a tooth pick the whole time and wore one of those train conductor hats. after he lost the hand, he made a huge bluff on the next hand and lost. boost and i started ribbing him. "uHOH.....hes on tilt....hes so mad...gonna lose it all now!" "gabe, look, i can see the steam coming out of his ears!" he responds: "i made $800 here this week, i dont care, i got the bankroll to back it up." i laugh. "ok man dont lose all $800 of it to me" he gets mad. "man ill outplay you all day" i probably sound like an aSSHole at this point. "whatever dude, talk to the floor and get us a table playing headsup for your entire bankroll." he gets the point and doesnt saying anything for a while.
during this session george, who was also at our table, leaves and goes to eat dinner with his hideous wife (jk, nice catch mr. george " />. when he comes back, he brings us all water bottles filled with vodka. yes! the last 3 hours of our session i was pretty wasted. i end up winning the pool because of my big stack.
we go back to room, get wasted-er.
day 3: saturday we wake up early enough to catch the usa-italy game at chili's. we leave in middle of second half however because we were all hungry for action.
i sat at 2/5 and lost all the money i had made the previous day back. i lost kings to aces pretty early in session. i got my stack up to 1300ish, then i lost two big pots (i think trikflow was distracting me at the time. he had just arrived at the casino right before the first hand).
i straddle, some callers, redneck in SB, who has been raising lots of times i straddle who has about $1k behind raises to $40. i call $30 more with 8h7h and the flop is headsup. KQ7, he bets 100 i call. turn is an 8, he bets $100 again, i make it $300. river is a Q and he pushes allin. god dammit. i kinda lost it and look mad and muck my cards after cursing the river. he stands up and shows his cards "NICE LAYDOWN SON.......NICE LAYDOWN." dammit he showed JT! outplayed. whatever, i call him an aSSHole and eventually he apologizes.
a few hands later i open raise 77, new guy calls with $400 behind. KQT flop, i bet he calls. turn 7, i checkraise allin and he shows J9. river didn't pair the board, i rack up and decide to donk it up with trik at 1/2nl.
we straddle, raise in the dark, and minbet until the table starts getting pissed. people would get their chips and leave, and we would wish them good night, only to see them moving to the table next to us because they didn't like playing at such a wild table. we were drinking during this, fun times.
one younger guy left and we were like "awwww man cmon stay." he replied "this table is too random, i want to go play with bad players, not you guys." we laughed, he thouht we were good. ha!
i dont remember many hands from this part, but i do remember i had to call for chips a few times but i left with $650.
day 4: sunday
george, boost, lukie and i drive down to irving texas to go to trikflow's house. on the way i beat lukie out of lots of money playing war. he tilts, bad. hes so nitty its hilarious.....he was so upset about losing $20 on a few games of war, that he gets george to take half of his war action eventually. LUKIE GOT STAKED IN A WAR GAME BECAUSE HE WAS AFRAID OF LOSING $50 ON A WAR TRIP. jesus.
we get to trikflow's place and meet his mom and brothers. everyone is cool, we eat steak and go swimming. i beat lukie out of more money playing holdem (see the hand in shorthanded forum) and war. meanwhile lukie gets drunk for the first time in his life and everyone, including trik's entire family, was making fun of him. this would happen to his face and behind his back. we all watch game 5 of the mavs-heat series; all the texans present cry at the overtime loss that resulted. lukie didnt see the game though, he was busy drunk calling the girls he writes stories about.
we decide to play some cards for the rest of the night in a .25/.50 NO LIMIT TEXAS HOLDEM game. chips for flying and life is good. we decide to mix it up and add some omaha and random games of high card for $5 each. boost and lukie get dealt dueces and treys every time we play that. lol @ them.
in one particular omaha hand, lukie folded KKxx face up on a K2252 board fearing quads. everyone laughed at him. can you imagine playing cards with your drunk friends and folding a fold house? i can't. lukie is a nit at everything. we give him a hard time about it and eventually go to sleep, then go to the airport the next morning and the trip is over.
overall, i had a blast. although it seemed like half the time we were making fun of mr. eric luke, there was lots of fun stuff we got into at the casino. i was stuck a bunch of money, but relatively it wasn't much at all. it just seems like so much when i have it in cash! boost and george and trik were all really cool and im sure we'll all do it again sometime.

july was bad but talking about bad runs is lame so im going to (try to) not do it. including a mtt i won for $4k, this was my first losing month since i was a newbie.
this weekend im moving back to school so i dont think ill be able to play much. i plan on making $15k at 3/6nl before i go back up to 5/10nl full time. also i've been looking onto other sites besides party because there are soooo many TAGs filling up the games.

after taking a few days off a=at the end of the casino trip i took with ultimate george, boostnslide, lukie, and trickflow i took a few days off from online poker.
BUT i made a successful return to the 5/10 NL 6 max game on party. ive been 12 tabling, its fucking wild. my image matters alot because im usually raising and reraising people alot preflop and im not scared to make moves on the flop, but its not as hard to manage as you might think because each regular is on half of my tables.
i played a 3600 hand session tonight for no good reason. i was in the process of making a really long itunes playlist but was interrupted by a phone call. when i came back to my computer to play, i forgot about making it and just started playing poker. then i decided i would quit when the list was over, which was 3600 hands. it was a little over 3 hours 12 tabling. i consider this a marathon. i misclicked alot but didnt time out so much. the screen got blurry near the end.

burn. he was just mad because i reraise him alot and he doesn't know how to deal with it.
the other day i dropped $22,900 on a new car. last night i made almost 9k playing 5/10 NL 6 max on party. today i made about $4k playing 10/20 omaha on stars. i love poker.
i was going to go to the beach for the entire weekend, but some of my friends dropped out (was about 10 guys going total) so i didn't go either. instead, one of my friends had some kegs over at his house and threw a party.
the cops came to the party and knocked on the door but no one answered it. then 4 more cop cars came and people started getting worried. the cops procede to write tickets to everyone parked near the house for various reasons. like if their car was 7 inches from the curb instead of 6 inches, they got a ticket. if their car was at the wrong angle (like pulled straight in instead of parallel), they got a ticket. its funny because when i was going over there and parked at the end of the street my friend was like 'why are you parking far away?' im so smart!
eventually i'm ready to drive home but im still pretty drunk. maybe im not so smart. this guy asks for a ride home and i tell him its no problem. he asks me if we can stop at his friend's house, which he says isn't far and i oblige. on the drive there he takes out my gangstarr 'the ownerz' CD case and does a line of coke. omg wtf have i gotten into. we get to the house, which ended up being 20 minutes out of the way, and this white trash girl and big black guy come up to the car where i meet them. the black guy says hes cool with me because i have a kangol hat on. awesome. the guy that i was driving gives the black dude roughly $1300 in cash and gets a bunch of cocaine in exchange. wtf wtf.
he puts it in my glove compartment and we go back to the party. i thought i was taking him home. he also said he would give me $10 for gas which i was going to spend at taco bell but he never did. i eventually made it home safely.
so i ended up a few thousand at 10/20, but decided it wasnt that fun or worth the time. its less challenging to play (ooh...do i have a set? ok raise..) than 6 max, and my hourly rate 9 tabling 3/6 6 max is about the same as 9 tabling 10/20, plus the size (in dollars) of the swings in the 3/6 game is less.
i just played a 1400 hand session at 3/6 where i won 5 buyins, so im going to make a thread in the shorthanded forum with all the big pots i played.
ive been 9 tabling 10/20 full ring on party this week. ive won about $18k over 7000 hands. here are a bunch of fun hands:

i havent updated much because i havent been playing much. ive been breaking even for a kinda long stretch, too. this game has lots of swings. the reason i have these swings, as explained to Lukie, is that i 'go allin alot.' heres a graph:

but overall im doing pretty well. i am hoping to make $100k by my birthday in september.
i am trying to work on aggression postflop, not letting people 'run over' me. i went waaay overboard with this and thats why i lost so many buyins today. heres the stuff i'm talking about.
